"MY name is Jamie and I was born into poverty. I had a dream to become a jockey. Early on I was a moderate flat jockey, but hit my peak as a jumps jockey. From 21-31 I toured the world until at 31 I picked up a drink after a fall and a family tragedy. I found once I started I couldn’t stop. I lost everything. The MARC contributes to society by being able to assist alcoholics recover and become productive members of society. For the MARC to continue and expand its works it relies on donations. Donations are tax deductible and all monies received are spent on supporting individuals & families by providing accommodation and services to recovering alcoholics. The MARC is audited annually. A receipt will be mailed to you for tax purposes.
