About
Doug is a registered Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Supervisor and a member of The Australian Psychological Society (APS). He also has specialist registration with Medicare to provide clinical psychology services.
Doug has worked extensively in acute psychiatric settings, and has particular skills in crisis management. He has been trained in critical incident debriefing and is a member of the clinical college of the APS. Doug has been trained in cognitive-behavioural therapy and has a particular expertise in treating anxiety disorders, personality disorders, psychosis, depression, stress and pain management.
He also uses psychological assessment, supportive counselling, and interpersonal therapy strategies in his therapeutic work.
Doug has been in private practice as a Clinical Psychologist for ten years, and has been employed as a Senior Psychologist in Crisis Assessment and Treatment Teams (CATT).

Bulk Billing:
Bulk Billing is available when your G.P. completes a mental health care plan (6 to 12 sessions).
Fees:
No co-payments when mental health care plan is completed. (ie. bulk billed.)The standard fee is $100 per session, where there is no mental health care plan. (This can be flexible if needs dictate.)
